The Pure Resonance Watch Review

Earlier this year, we must make sure that watch superstar Kari Voutilainen and Armin Strom cooperate to generate restricted operation from the latter's mirror pressure resonance. However, now at SIHH, Armin Strom announced Pure Resonance, which the brand describes as focusing on "purity and timing."

The use of resonant watches is very rare, because of the great difficulties that will cause them

The resonant clock usually consists of two independent mainsprings, a gear train, an escapement system and a balancer, which are connected to the rack and pinion for precise adjustment from their distance. Once the two oscillators (the suggestions presented above are grouped together) are beating synchronously, they can look for concurrent rhythms in the opposite direction and continue to average out errors. In essence, two "resonance" balances provide higher accuracy, energy savings and overall better stability.

The new Pure Resonance uses two off-center display times compared to the usual three display times. Once the Armin Strom team simplifies the ARF15 caliber by eliminating the two-second anti-fighting mechanism, it is possible. This allows for the smaller size of the small dial to be near the 7 o'clock position, which shows the second hand using the baton to form the white hand and track. Around 3 o'clock, the larger small cylinders were treated with Roman numerals hour markers for hours and minutes.

Aminstrom's assumption is not complicated

The less the timepiece function, the higher its possible accuracy. Claude Greisler, company director of the Armin Strom team, wanted this watch to be as simple as possible. Think of it as a watch for only a while, with the classic Armin Strom resonance.

As the upper regulator resonates, the ARF15 movement is redesigned so that the time display receives energy in the lower regulator. You can still begin to see resonant regulators and resonant clutch springs, but the overall functionality is still not fully revealed.

"The reason for the redesign of the movement structure is obvious, so the focus is on resonance setup and accuracy."

The 42mm case (either stainless steel or 18K rose gold) is lighter and thinner than the original Resonance watch by 1.4mm. In addition, it includes a reduced lug and crown, and no visible bezel.

Armin Strom's philosophy happens to be at the forefront of the next watch industry, but I like the company's low-key changes. From my experience, it seems that at least one thing, Pure Resonance proves that Armin Strom knows that it does a good job and hopes to prove that even though Greisler and the team will conduct down-to-earth negotiations with any technicians, they also know when to slow down. Steps to create a watch represented by the brand's complex DNA, but it can still be used by those who are not seeking the latest breakthroughs in timepieces.
